How a race day works

Short races, scored across the day

Everyone races together on the same course: new racers, club regulars and the fast crowd. Races are short, about five minutes plus the lap you are on, and a day is a series of them.

Low-point scoringYour finishing position is your score for the race: first place is 1 point, second is 2. Lowest total across the series wins the day.
Lapping is normalFast pilots lap newer ones. Results count your laps, so you race your own race and the scoring sorts it out.
Live leaderboardCrossings are scored live. Anyone at the track, or at home, can watch the standings update lap by lap.
Race numbersYou get a number at sign-on each race day. It rides on the pulley whip at the back of your kart, so the scorer can call you across the line.
